The University of Chicago Law Review has closed submissions for Articles and Essays for our spring selection process. We look forward to reviewing your submissions in July 2026 for Volume 94.

We are still accepting submissions for book reviews on a rolling basis. Please email book review submissions to the Symposium, Essays, & Reviews Editor, Gabe Juedemann, at gjuedemann@uchicago.edu.

Thank you for considering submitting your article to the University of Chicago Law Review. You may upload your article in any format supported by Scholastica. Please feel free to include a cover letter, resume or CV, or any other supplemental information. If you submit a cover letter, please feel free to put in any information you would like us to know about you, including background information that makes your perspective unique. All cover letters will be kept confidential.

We review submissions in the order in which they are received. If you need a decision by a particular date, please add an expedite request after you submit your article. If you experience any difficulties uploading your article you may email it to lrarticles@law.uchicago.edu. We look forward to reading and considering your work. Please see our home page for our Data Policy for Empirical Papers. While we will consider submissions up to 30,000 words, we will strongly discount any submissions over 30,000 words.
